Menu

Tap below for details of each course.

Starting with a fusion from South America to the Mediterranean, kataifi prawns, a dish to continue clinging onto the warmer weather, paired with a Pinot Grigio from Alto Adige, the far north of Italy. This wine is in a different league to entry level Pinot Grigio, with its pure fruity palate and crisp finish.

Beef fillet carpaccio, sourced locally and professionally prepared, this has been crafted to give you the flavours and textures you would expect from this prime cut. Paired with a chilled red wine, before passing judgement, this is an experience you have to try. This Morgon has fine tannins, rich fruits and comes from a vineyard owned by the same family for over 100 years.

Not your run of the mill vegetarian dish, this tasting of our locally sourced Harrisa roasted heritage carrot, will have your taste buds tingling and imaging how you could recreate this at home. Matched with possibly the best Sauvignon blanc we’ve ever tried. This wine not only helps to cleanse the palate from the harrisa but it’s floral notes help to add extra balance to the dish.
Our confit lamb is a bold, rich and moorish plate that will have you wishing for a second serving. Paired alongside a red wine with a nod to the executive head chef Simone, and his Sicilian roots, this trendy Nero D’Avola, has complimenting notes of liquorice and spices.
Autumn is around the corner and our next dish is a welcoming of the start to smoked food season, Our smoked milk poached trout. Each part of this dish has been thoroughly thought through from the earthy colours, the soft textures and Smokey flavours. This is why we have paired this with an ultra silky Italian primitivo, that has warm toasty notes.
To lighten the mood and freshen up your palate we finish up with a taste of European fusion. The choux au craquelin, a very light pastry with pistachio cream. Paired with a late harvest Viognier dessert wine, with notes of peach, honey and oak this wine tops the evening off.
