Salary: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

To be responsible for planning, organising, managing and co-ordinating various types of events. Co-ordinate meetings with clients to determine the finer details of their event. Proactively bring in new business to the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with clients, site operational teams and sub-contractors, to plan and execute events to the highest standards.
Carry out show rounds for potential wedding and event bookings.
Responsible for all administration for weddings and events, ensuring it is relevant and accurate.
Ensure the smooth running of all weddings and hotel events.
Collect necessary client details for event planning, including preferences, timeline and special requests.
To confirm final event details with the organiser, such as menu and wine choices and final requirements, by drafting and sending their function sheet prior to the event date.
Issue weekly function sheets to the internal teams.
Work closely with the hotel teams to ensure they are set up according to the client specifications.
Remaining available for the events for any ad-hoc issues that may arise.
Be the customer’s point of contact after booking, ensuring client has the best experience; ordering and delivering any additional extras.
Deliver events as a Duty Manager, ensuring the running of events safely and efficiently with the site presented to the best possible standard.
Ensure all costs are effectively managed; create purchase orders and raise final invoices certifying figures.
Provide technical and logical site information to clients and suppliers on the venue, including layout plan and site visits.
Communicate effectively with the wider operations team and catering team, to ensure function rooms are set to the client’s needs, including A.V. and catering stations.
Co-ordinate with suppliers from set-up to breakdown, handling queries, trouble-shooting and delivering on-site orientation.
Work Early Shifts, Mid Shifts and Late Shifts as Duty Manager.
Keep up-to-date with BOB business and be able to answer financial questions in your area promptly.
Manage multiple email inboxes
Be able to prioritise workload.
Skills & Experience:
Proficient using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Reslynx (full training can be given).
Be able to drive and have own vehicle – due to the location of the hotel.
Skilled in Reslynx operating system
Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
Excellent administration, time management and organisational abilities.
An interest in the industry/job is desirable.
Good verbal and written communication skills to all levels from worker to client. Happy to pick up the phone and answer queries.
Must be able to multi-task and be adaptable.
Have an eye for detail.
Strong team player, friendly and happy to roll up sleeves and support other areas of the business.
Ability to handle stress and stay calm under pressure.

Working Pattern: Monday to Sunday, on rota basis, 5 days out of 7. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Salary Range: £12.50 p/h
The Position:
As a Leisure Professional, you will work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the Health & Fitness Club and provide an exceptional service to our guests and members. You will work across the club performing a variety of tasks – from reception duties to pool/equipment testing, to ensuring the cleanliness of the club. You’ll bring enthusiasm and strong team working spirit to the role. You will need to have a professional attitude and be highly motivated with great attention to detail.
You will be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday – Sunday on a rota basis working 5 days out of 7.
